Freelance Jobs

I remember when my friend Trisha Adams first started looking for freelance jobs. I recall the opportunities she was given, but being really picky about work she would tend to turn it down and simply wait for the next opportunity to come her way. Trisha was a very bright and talented young artist, and so she thought getting work would be very easy for her.

It provided that finding freelance jobs for freelance artists became a challenge for Trisha. Despite her efforts in browsing through the internet, on job boards and message forms, she couldn’t find herself any work to do. So what did she do? She decided to put together a freelance art portfolio of the work she did do in the past.

Some of the small freelance jobs she did accept were for smaller firms, odd projects here and there really. Although it was a start, she did gain some experience but Trisha felt she needed to move fast in the freelance business. To her dismay, her hopes and dreams nearly came to an end as she experienced trial after trial as nobody would hire her.

But because of her persistence, Trisha managed to land several freelance jobs after months of not being able to find any work. Throughout her experience, she learned not to be too picky about work, but she would stick to doing work that she found rewarding for herself to do. She also spread her vision further to encompass a vast array of projects that suited her talent.

Finding freelance jobs could be challenging if you’re a picky freelancer. The best way to pursue freelancing is to experience as many kinds of freelance work as you can within the scope of your talent. Then you’ll identify your niche and learn more about yourself and your abilities!
