Freelance Proofreading Jobs
Courtney Hall never imagined that there would be a full time job opportunity in proofreading. But that was changed when she was introduced to freelance proofreading jobs by a close friends of her, William Maker, who had been a proof reader for over twenty years. That is in addition to his freelance copywriting and editing work for advertising agencies around the world.
As a freelancer interested in becoming a proof reader, Courtney explored various freelance proofreading jobs and opportunities through the internet. She discovered a number of opportunities. One was a project to proof read corporate training manuals. Another was to proof read a short story and novel written by a well known author. There were overwhelming opportunities here and there, ripe for the picking!
But Courtney latched on to freelance proofreading jobs, even though she was an avid writer. She decided that it would be best to have a focus, and to be concentrated on one particular task or project at a time. The advantage this would give her was the ability to provide client’s with proofreading services unparalleled to that offered by other freelancers.
And so Courtney began taking on freelance proofreading jobs and started earning quite a generous income from her work. Spending close to eight hours a day in her comfy home office, she receives projects via internet through e-mail and sends proof read copies back via e-mail and fax. For her, the day just passes by so quickly doing something she loves to do.
With that, Courtney is planning to launch her own proof reading company specializing in freelance proofreading jobs for companies. Her ambition and eagerness is bound to lead to her success.
